Naio
Our beloved sweetwood. Visit naioinfo.com for information about our beloved naio.

Naio grows on all the main Hawaiian Islands from coastal areas and lava fields to dry, mesic, and wet forests. Various parts of naio wood were used in hale construction, for shuttles in net making, spears, and other smaller tools. Naio wood is also used for woodworking.
