Native Hawaiian Forest Educational Program
Can you believe that there are children living in Hawaiʻi who have never seen a Native Hawaiian forest? Each year, Hiki Ola has hosted schools, homeschool groups and educational programs with donations from generous people like you. We are striving to raise $100,000 to continue this experience for students free of charge.
2. Hiki Ola's Scholarship Program
Hiki Ola is working to boost the amount of Native Hawaiians in Natural Resources careers and support our future in Hawaiian speaking pathways. We have worked to establish the very first scholarship for Ke Kula ʻo ʻEhunuikaimalino's Senior class. Below are pathways of support that Hiki Ola is providing. Each scholarship is for students seeking support who are planning to attend full time programs.
Hiki Ola Scholarship: $1,000 Degree in a natural resource related field
Pālamanui Scholarship: $4,000 Attend Pālamanui full time for any field of study
Kiaʻi ʻEhunui Hawaiian Studies Scholarship: Up to $4,000 Degree in Hawaiian Studies
Ola ka ʻōlelo Scholarship: $1,000 Degree in Hawaiian Language or Hawaiian Studies focusing on the Hawaiian Language
